Catch up on our webinar held on Tuesday 15th October.
The Department for Education's DFJ Trailblazers: Reducing Time to Family Court programme provides funding to local authorities within a DFJ area to pilot solutions aimed at reducing delay in the family court system.
Local authorities are implementing solutions to: tackle the drivers of delay across the family justice system, mitigate individual agencies working in silos, reducing Further Case Management Hearings, divert more cases from court and reduce costs across the family justice system.
This webinar, aimed at the wider children's social care sector, focused on the development of regional, multi-agency workforce training plans. We heard from three areas on how they set about identifying the training needs of their respective workforces and designed a training plan to increase confidence and skills, with the ultimate ambition of reducing delays in family courts.
