Welcome to our Workforce Wellbeing Toolkit. This user-friendly resource includes an interactive dashboard which will help you to navigate social work workforce data, and an Excel tool designed to support you to assess your organisational health and wellbeing offer to employees and to provide insights and strategies for enhancing employee wellbeing.
We know that workforce challenges are felt across many local authorities. With easy navigation and practical features, our toolkit is designed to support you in creating a more stable, healthier and happier workplace.
Social Care Workforce Data Trends Tool
This tool allows you to explore the Department for Education's children's and families social work workforce data. The data in this tool is from the 2024 release. You can use this tool to explore the data at a national, regional or local authority level.
We've also written a blog post about what the data tells us about the use of agency workers in the workforce which you can read here.
To use the tool, please click on the icon in the bottom right to enable full-screen mode.
Social Care Staff Health and Wellbeing Self-Assessment Tool
This tool can be used by local authority and council staff who have responsibilities for - or an interest in - the health and wellbeing of social care staff.
The tool is a diagnostic survey that assesses your health and wellbeing offer to social care staff. The tool is interactive; once completed, it provides a dashboard that will summarise the your results, offer recommendations, and signpost accessible materials about different parts of a holistic health and wellbeing offer.
You can access the tool via the link below:
