Our commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion

At MV, we believe that diversity, equity, and inclusion are essential to delivering brilliant public services. Diverse identities, experiences and ideas are essential for fostering innovation and improvement.

 

We want to reflect the public services and communities that we serve, and continue to grow and develop to be a place where everyone can succeed. We are building a diverse, high-performing workplace to make this a reality.

We commit to becoming a more inclusive workforce that mirrors the diverse communities on whose behalf we work.

 

This includes ensuring our delivery of our projects, and communications for these projects, respond to and reflect the diverse needs of these communities. We will seek to actively engage with communities in our projects, such as engaging with individuals who have lived experience of the services we are working to improve. 

We will improve our own awareness and knowledge 

We commit to continuously improving our own learning about equity, diversity and inclusion, including exploring new areas of focus on an on-going basis.

 

We will ensure all employees receive comprehensive ED&I training on a regular basis.  

We will improve
access to attract talent 

We commit to regularly reviewing and updating our recruitment practices to attract a diverse pool of candidates, ensuring that our recruitment process is bias-free and enables all prospective applicants to be their best.

 

We will also begin to measure and monitor our progress by establishing our company baseline and using this evidence - and staff feedback - to inform our priorities for improvement.
